How Trump Can Fulfill Reagan’s Defense Vision

Growing terrorist attacks, accelerating nuclear-weapon/ballistic-missile threats, and atrophying U.S. military capabilities – President-elect Donald Trump faces a dangerous, complex world.

To get a sense of just how dangerous that world is, consider this: Rogue states and even terrorists have or could soon have the ability to knock out the American electric grid, using a nuclear weapon detonated high above the United States.
According to 2008 testimony by members of the congressionally appointed EMP Commission, many months of outage caused by such an electromagnetic-pulse (EMP) attack would return life in our just-in-time economy to 18th-century conditions, without the benefits of the then-existing agrarian society – leading to the death of most Americans from starvation, disease, and societal collapse.

Castro’s death.

If you are reading this, it is despite the best efforts of the late Fidel Castro, one of the few men on earth actively to have promoted nuclear war, with the ambition of annihilating capitalism. That is not a reference to the 1962 Cuban missile crisis, but to Castro’s initiative 20 years later when he tried to persuade the Soviet Union to launch a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the United States.

Castro
Our knowledge of this derives from the revelations of General Andrian Danilevich, a Soviet general staff officer, contained in Pentagon documents held in the National Security Archive at George Washington University. Even the hawkish Soviet generals were appalled by Castro’s scientific illiteracy and, in the words of Danilevich, “had to actively disabuse him of this view by spelling out the ecological consequences for Cuba of a Soviet strike against the U.S.”.
So, it seems one component of the useful-idiot confederacy of leftist dunces that is disqualified from mourning Fidel Castro is the Green tabernacle. That is a thought to entertain when one next sees a useless idiot in the shape of a media studies undergraduate sporting a Che Guevara tee-shirt on a march to save the planet.

A ‘reordering’ of the Middle East as Trump / Flynn engage in Syria and aim to win.

‘Normally US president elects sit on their hands awaiting their formal inauguration before beginning their administration’s tasks. Not so President Elect Trump. Typical of an outsider when it comes to the unwritten rules of the ‘political game’. Trump has the Constitutional authority to act immediately if he wishes, and that is exactly what he is doing. With the Syrian civil war entering its strategic end phase’ both Trump and his newly minted National Security Advisor General Mike Flynn want to make their mark in Syria, to seize the initiative and be a ‘key player’ in the post Syrian civil war wash-up.

Trump’s National Security Adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn is already in close touch with the Head of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, as well as President Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey and Jordan’s King Abdullah. Just a week after Trump’s election he dispatched his most trusted lieutenant , his son, to engage with the Russian Foreign Minister to set the stage for a direct engagement with the Russians over Syria. The initially covert discussions between Flynn and his Russian counterparts are preparing the ground for a combined assault on the Islamic State’s bastions in Iraq and Syria shortly after Trump moves into the White House. The plan of operation would also involve the regular armies of Turkey, Jordan, Iraq and Persian Gulf nations.

The Chinese economy’s reckoning with their own ‘Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae’ type crisis

China’s banks are disguising bad debts by turning them into “securitized packages” rather than writing them down as non-performing loans, according to the IMF. Where have I heard that before I hear you chime in? Remember the 2007-8 financial near meltdown, with bankrupt banks, the raids on the tax base to bail out the ‘Bank-sters’,and those pesky ‘credit default swaps’ and CDOs (Collateralized Debt Obligations). Otherwise known as selling worthless pieces of paper with ridiculous fiscal promises scribbled on them for millions and billions of dollars. And after all of the dust settled who remembers those newly minted ‘Bespoke Tranche Opportunities’, that began to reappear a few years later, also known as more of the same ‘worthless pieces of paper with ridiculous fiscal promises scribbled on them for millions and billions of dollars’?

Obviously members of the global financial elite community are either ‘slow learners’ or they are criminal  narcissists pathologically addicted to wealth, with no ethical restrictions on how they get the filthy lucre.

And so after a hiatus of just 8 years it’s now China’s turn to sell its ‘fiscal soul’.

On April 17, 2012, President Barack Obama nominated Flynn to be the 18th director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Flynn took command of the DIA in July 2012.[24] In October 2012, Flynn announced plans to release his paper “VISION2020: Accelerating Change Through Integration“, a broad look at how the Defense Intelligence Agency must transform to meet the national security challenges for the 21st Century.[25] It was meant to emphasize “integration, interagency teamwork and innovation of the whole workforce, not just the technology but the people.”

[chosen by President-elect Donald Trump on Nov. 21, 2016, to serve as National Security Adviser], was fired as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in the winter of 2014 after three decades in the military.
