The Chinese economy’s reckoning with their own ‘Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae’ type crisis

China’s banks are disguising bad debts by turning them into “securitized packages” rather than writing them down as non-performing loans, according to the IMF. Where have I heard that before I hear you chime in? Remember the 2007-8 financial near meltdown, with bankrupt banks, the raids on the tax base to bail out the ‘Bank-sters’,and those pesky ‘credit default swaps’ and CDOs (Collateralized Debt Obligations). Otherwise known as selling worthless pieces of paper with ridiculous fiscal promises scribbled on them for millions and billions of dollars. And after all of the dust settled who remembers those newly minted ‘Bespoke Tranche Opportunities’, that began to reappear a few years later, also known as more of the same ‘worthless pieces of paper with ridiculous fiscal promises scribbled on them for millions and billions of dollars’?

Obviously members of the global financial elite community are either ‘slow learners’ or they are criminal  narcissists pathologically addicted to wealth, with no ethical restrictions on how they get the filthy lucre.

And so after a hiatus of just 8 years it’s now China’s turn to sell its ‘fiscal soul’.

Obama WH policy discrimination against US Arab Christians?

Disturbing news <https://counterjihadreport.com/tag/christian-persecution/>  has emerged of attempts to exclude Arab Christians from top federal jobs when President Obama was first elected.

In a Wiki-leaked email it is reported that New York attorney Preeta D. Bansal, who had served in the Clinton Administration in the 1990s, compiled a list of Muslim Americans to be considered for top government posts by the Obama transition team. The email, <https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/28660> which clearly suggests she had been specifically instructed to exclude Arab Christians, states:

“Here are the compiled lists of Asian American and Muslim American candidates for top Administration jobs, sub-cabinet jobs, and outside boards/agencies/policy committees. A couple things to note about the list of Muslim American candidates: In the candidates for top jobs, I excluded those with some Arab American background but who are not Muslim (e.g., George Mitchell). Many Lebanese Americans, for example, are Christian [BF emphasis]. In the last list (of outside boards/commissions), most who are listed appear to be Muslim American, except that a handful (where noted) may be Arab American but of uncertain religion (esp. Christian).”

Trump’s Incoming US Cabinet & Senior Advisory Appointments backgrounder ‘Education’

Betsy DeVos, the right choice for education secretary

Donald Trump has chosen conservative reformer Betsy DeVos to be his education secretary. A better choice would be hard to find.

220px-betsy_devos_2005_cropBetsy De Vos

First under George W. Bush and the No Child Left Behind Act, then under Barack Obama and a long list of intrusive initiatives, the federal government’s role in education has metastasized, growing more and more aggressively in recent years. The Department of Education has bribed states with “Race to the Top” funds to adopt its standards, established prohibitive teacher-licensing requirements that keep competent teachers out of the classroom, and even inserted itself into the prosecution of on-campus sex crimes. And what is there to show for it? In October 2015, the semi-annual National Assessment of Educational Progress, the “nation’s report card,” showed no student progress in mathematics for the first time in 20 years and reading scores dropping for the first time in a decade.

In September 2011, Flynn was promoted to Lieutenant General and assigned to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. On April 17, 2012, President Barack Obama nominated Flynn to be the 18th director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Flynn took command of the DIA in July 2012.[24] In October 2012, Flynn announced plans to release his paper “VISION2020: Accelerating Change Through Integration“, a broad look at how the Defense Intelligence Agency must transform to meet the national security challenges for the 21st Century.[25] It was meant to emphasize “integration, interagency teamwork and innovation of the whole workforce, not just the technology but the people.”

[chosen by President-elect Donald Trump on Nov. 21, 2016, to serve as National Security Adviser], was fired as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in the winter of 2014 after three decades in the military. NYT fails in its attempt to ‘spin’ Trump’s Climate comments.

The ‘fake news’ that Trump had somehow moderated or changed his “global warming” views was not supported by the full transcript of the meeting.
Heartland Institute President Joe Bast had this to say about the full transcript of Trump’s meeting: “This is reassuring. The Left wants to drive wedges between Trump and his base by spinning anything he says as “retreating from campaign promises.” But expressing nuance and avoiding confrontation with determined foes who buy ink by the barrel is not retreating.” The Heartland Institute released their skeptical 2015 climate report featuring 4,000 peer-reviewed articles debunking the UN IPCC claims.
